The University of Tampa Wedding – Kristi and Matt
One of the most iconic and historic wedding photography spots in Tampa would have to be the University of Tampa‘s campus. From the picturesque backdrops of the city, to the historic architecture of the main building known as the Old Tampa Hotel, it is a photographers dream for diversity and beauty. This last week, I had the pleasure of taking part in a bride and groom session with Kristi and Matt. This meant I had the bride and groom just to themselves. This allows for photos to get personal, romantic and fun! Kristi and Matt were up for anything and I think you can see from the little sneak below that the session turned out beautifully! Tampa Wedding – St. Paul Lutheran Church – Karen and George
As a wedding photographer in Tampa, I take on all different types of weddings. From church weddings, to art galleries to the beach. Each wedding is unique in venue and those involved. A couple of months ago I was asked to do photography for Karen and George’s wedding at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tampa. I have to say that I was deeply touched by their wedding on so many levels! Their wedding was unique in the fact that Karen and George met each other later in life. This was a second chance at love for both of them. I was almost brought to tears by the speeches given in which they not only expressed their love for each other, but their extended family as well. The Nova 535 in St. Petersburg, Florida, has to be one of the most unique venues in the area. From the dramatic lighting during the ceremony and reception, to the beautiful statement art pieces on the walls done by local artists. I had the pleasure of taking part in Ashley and Marcus’ wedding day which took place at the NOVA a few short months ago. Their wedding was such a thrill complete with wedding entertainment at it’s finest. One of the most memorable moments was when Ashley and her mother and sister performed a choreographed dance for their guest! Here’s a little peak at Ashley and Marcus’ day. Chrisi and Ryan – Sarasota Beach Wedding – Tampa Photographer
This summer can definitely go down as my most popular wedding photography seasons thus far! A summer of love on the beach! My most recent wedding session was with Chrisi and Ryan in Sarasota. They were wed just before sunset at Lido Beach. It doesn’t get much more romantic than this! An intimate ceremony with family and friends, followed by a champagne toast below the brilliantly painted sky at sunset. I couldn’t have enjoyed this session anymore! Ryan and Chrisi were amazing, the location was to die for and the sunset couldn’t have been more perfect! Check out the swoon-worthy backdrops below.

Tessa and Adam – Tradewinds Resort – Wedding Photography
This summer has been a whirlwind of beach wedding photography sessions! I am continually blessed with the most amazing couples who hire me as their wedding photographer! On August 3rd, I had the pleasure of photographing Tessa and Adam, who traveled from Tennessee for their marital bliss at the Tradewinds Resort on St. Pete Beach. These two were beyond adorable! Kristy and Jeremy – Wedding Photography – The Grand Plaza – St. Pete Beach
This summer has been a fantastic season for destination beach weddings! On the 13th of this month I had the pleasure of photographing my 3rd destination wedding in a matter of 3 months! This month it was a beautiful little sunset beach wedding. Kristy and Jeremy are a sweet and adorable couple from Iowa. They picked Florida and St. Pete for its world famous beaches. I have to admit the weather that week had me a bit worried since it had been storming for 4 days straight. I was hoping it wouldn’t do so for their beach-side ceremony. Luckily for all of us the weather cooperated and we had nothing but sunshine all day! The ceremony took place just before sunset, allowing for the most romantic hues and lighting as they said their vows and posed for photos. Here’s a little sneak peek from their day. Wedding Photography at the Don Vincente de Ybor – Tampa Wedding Photographer
This last month I completed four amazing model wedding photo sessions at the Don Vincente in Ybor City. Each session focused on the amazing vintage feel of inn and the gorgeous dresses provided by Perfection Prom and Bridal. I hand selected each model for this session, and I believe they all executed their looks beautifully. Jay and Danielle – The Sirata Beach Resort – Tampa Wedding Photographer – Blue Star Photography

As a Tampa wedding photographer, I am consistently traveling to the beach for my brides and grooms. My most recent wedding photo session was at the Sirata Beach Resort on St. Pete Beach. The resort has amazing views of the gulf and is fantastic for couples wanting to simply step out of their suites onto the sugar white sand. I had the pleasure of photographing the fantastically sweet couple Danielle and Jay, who traveled all the way from Nebraska for their tropical wedding bliss. They were adorable and such a joy to watch basking in the love of one another. So without further ado, here is a glimpse from their special day.
